View options

You can use our view options (found in the left-hand column) to change the way all pages on the website are displayed. Your browser must accept cookies to use these options (most browsers accept cookies by default).

Contrast

The High Contrast setting changes the colour scheme of the website to one particularly suitable for users with colour-difficient vision and adds emphasis to hyperlinks. Low Contrast is the default colour scheme of the website.

Text size

The Larger Text setting increases the text size. The Smaller Text setting is the default text size. This website uses relative font sizes from cascading style sheets (CSS). If your browser does not support CSS, size of fonts will be your browsers default sizes for the various HTML heading, paragraph and list elements. If you use a browser which does support CSS, text of all but a few navigation elements are not defined as having a particular point- or pixel-size, but are ranged from 'xx-small' to 'xx-large' relative to your browsers text size settings. Most browsers can resize all text using their own Zoom or Text Size features. For example in recent versions of Firefox and Internet Explorer, the key combinations are:

To increase the size of text: while holding down the CTRL key, press the = (equals/plus) key (for Macintosh, substitute the COMMAND or APPLE key for the CTRL key). To decrease the size of text: while holding down the CTRL key, press the - (hyphen/underscore) key (for Macintosh, substitute the COMMAND or APPLE key for the CTRL key).

Width

The Fixed Width setting formats the content of the site over two columns rather than three. This setting might be useful to users with small monitors. The Full Width setting is the default layout of three columns over the full width of the browser window.
